  	Carp Review - November 8, 1917 - Patrick Garland Dead The death occurred on Thursday morning last, Nov. 1st, at his residence, 97 Sherwood St., Ottawa, of Mr. Patrick Garland, aged sixty-eight years. The deceased was born at Dwyer Hill, Carleton Co., but for the past thirty years has resided in Ottawa. For years he was in the mercantile business, but of late had been an employee of the government printing bureau. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Frances, and four sons, Robert A., of Carberry, Man., Austin, William and Roy of Ottawa. Two brothers, Stephen of Dwyer Hill, and Wright of Carberry, Man., also survive. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock to St. Luke's Anglican Church, thence to Beechwood cemetery.
