Peacefully in his sleep at Almonte Country Haven on Monday, January 31, 2005. Stan Morton of Almonte, age 95 years Beloved husband of the late Marjorie E. Robertson. Dearly loved and very proud father of the late Lt. Gen. Robert W. Morton (Retired). Dear brother of Mrs. Ethel Mallon and Mrs. Marion Watchorn. Cherished father-in-law of Patricia Morton (Sutherland). Much loved grandfather of Jennifer (Richard) and Bruce (Lucie). Great-grandfather of Sydney, Jamie Lee and Ashley. Predeceased by 3 brothers Arthur, Reg and Laurie and by one sister Mrs. Lillian Dick. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte for visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and where a Service complete in the Chapel will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. Spring interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Almonte. Donations in memory of Stan may be made to R. Tait McKenzie Scholarship Fund and would be most appreciated by his family.
