  	Excerpts from The Calgary Weekly Herald, November 7, 1901: DIED--At the general hospital, Calgary, on Wednesday, October 30, 1901, Millie, the beloved wife of Thomas Jackson. --- One of the most impressive funerals ever held in Calgary was that of the late Mrs. Jackson on Sunday afternoon. The Methodist church was filled on the sad occasion and the solemn service was conducted by the Rev. Fred Langford, who still shows traces of his long illness, which, as our readers know was of the same character as that which carried off Mrs. Jackson leaving six young children motherless. During the service Messrs. Tood, Walt and McAra sang a touching trio "Gone to Her Rest."
