  	Obituary ?b?Robert Millar Struthers?/b? The death of Robert Millar Struthers, 50, occured at the Almonte General Hospital, on Sunday, November 8th, following a short period of ill health. Born in Ramsay Township,on December 22nd,1919, he was a son of the late Robert struthers and Eliza Melita Millar. He was educated at S.S. No. 11 Ramsay and the Almonte High School, and farmed on the 11th. line of Ramsay in the Appleton district prior to moving to Almonte in 1965. He and his mother resided at 69 Wilson Street. An active member of the North Lanark Agricultural society, Millar was president of the fair board at the time of his passing. He was a member of the Almonte United Church, and a member of the session of the church. surviving besides his mother, is one sister, Jean, Mrs Wiflred Neilson of Almonte. The funeral was held from the Comba Funeral Home on November 11th, with the burial being made at the Auld Kirk Cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev McCrea of Almonte United Church. Pallbearers were Blake Millar, Howard Fulton, William Struthers, Howard Sadler, Alex Stewart and Roy Lowe. 1970, Thursday November 19, the Almonte Gazette page 3
