Shot Accidentally.
W.E. LeTang of Dominion City was shot and killed by the accidental discharge of a shot gun, last Thursday, Mr. Letang prepared to go out for a chicken hunt alone and equipped himself with a belt of cartridges and a double-barrel shotgun, in a single rig. Less than an hour from the time he started, and about three miles from Dominion City, Mr. Letang was found by a lady driving to town, alongside the road, with the contents of one barrel discharged through his body and his clothes on fire; the cartridge belt that was strapped around his waist had several cartridges discharged in it by the fire from his clothes.
Mr. Letang was a prosperous and popular man of his neighborhood, about thirty five years of age and married. Some years ago he was a resident of this country and owned a farm on Tongue River near Paul Johnson's on the road to Bathgate.
