Loving and devoted father to Dianna Lachapelle (Gilbert), Donna Carpenter (Rodney) and Joyce Milton (Barry). Cherished grandpa to Shawn Lachapelle (Amanda Bissonette), Cory Lachapelle, Justin Milton, Caitlin Milton and Erin Milton. Beloved brother of the late Marian Armstrong (the late Graham), Grace Howie (the late Sterling), the late Ivan, Edith Campbell (John), Gordon (Lydia Dolan), the late Robert, Mary Howie (the late Armer), the late Isabel James (Carmen), Keith (the late Mary), Kenneth (Dorene) and the late Katherine Gardiner (Francis). Cecil will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Almonte Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated. WEDDING BRYDGES --- THOMPSON source Keith Thompson, Clayton, Ontario mewspaper clippings (2 4 3) An interesting wedding took place at the Baptist parsonage on Wednesday of last week when Miss Myrtle Thompson, daughter of Mr. William Thompson was married to Mr. Wilbert Brydges, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Brydges. Rev. Victor Collins officiated. Owing to a recent bereavement in the bride's family, the marriage cermony was very quietly observed. The young couple are both very well known, however, and the wedding gifts were very numerous. After the ceremony there was a family gathering at the home of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Brydges will reside at the groom's house on the 12th. line of Ramsay. Mrs Brydges was beautifully gowned in blue canton crepe. The bride and groom were the recipients of many congratulations in which the Gazette joins heartily.
