  	Jean never married. Obituary- Peacefully on Thursday Sept. 3, 2009 at the age of 92, passed away at the Vita and District Personal Care Home., Vita, Man. She was predeceased by her parents John and Emma, brother Lloyd and her sister Aileen (Henry) Smith. Left to mourn her passing is her brother, Chester (Dorothy) and many nieces and nephews. Jean was born and raised in Woodmore. In 1945 she moved with the family to Dominion City, where she resided until moving into the Franklin Manor in 1987, and where she enjoyed the many activities and friendship of other tenants. As her health began to fail, she was required to move into the Vita and District Personal Care Home. We the family would like to express sincere thanks to the nurses and staff for their excellent care she received while being a resident there. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service was held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 2 p.m. at the Dominion City Cemetery, Mb. with Rev. Bob Stark officiating. Should one desire donations may be made to the Dominion City United Church. Vita Funeral Home "Vita Chapel" in charge of arrangements.
