  	?b?Former School Trustee Ernie Scott Passes On ?/b?A school trustee in Surrey for eleven years, and a past chairman of the School Board, Thomas Ernest Scott of 19441 North Bluff Road was buried on Tuesday. He died at Shaughnessy military hospitul on March 26th, at the age of 70 years. "Ernie" Scott had lived at Hazelmere for the .past 32 years. He was very active in community work there until illness in recent years, with Hall's Prairie Farmers' Institute one of his main interests over the years. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Murray at Nanaimo and Joseph, Lethbridge; and two daughters, Mrs. Muriel Brodie, Hazelmere and Mrs. Connie McBurnie, North Surrey. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; one brother in Ottawa; and one sister in Manitoba. Funeral services were held from Cloverdale chapel of S. Bowell &; Sons, with Rev. F. H. Golightly officiating. Interment took place at Hazelmere Cemetery.
