McNEELY DIES - 52nd YEAR Final tribute was paid to the memory of Willard Bryce McNeely at his funeral which took place on Wednesday, April 17, 1968, from the Fleming Bros. Funeral Home, Lake Ave. west. to St James Anglican Church where the service was conducted at 2 p.m. with Rev E. Daniel Fleming assisted by Rev R Crawford of Ottawa officiating. Interment was in St James Cemetery. Mr McNeely, who had residing on the Arklan Farm, Beckwith Township, passed away on Sunday, April 14, in Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was in his 52nd year. Born in Carleton Place on August 28, 1916, he was the son of James McNeely, who survives and his wife the late Margaret Lynch. He was educated in Beckwith Township and had farmed all his life on the Arklan Farm. he was a member of St James Church. -594- Besides his father, he is survived by two brother, John of Ashton and Arnold of Carleton Place; five sisters, Edith (Mrs William Simpson), Dorothy (Mrs Ray Kennedy), Jean (Mrs H.K. Coleman), Fay (Mrs Robert Service) all of Carleton Place and Mrs Pat Yeamen of Montreal. The pallbearers were Keith and Kenneth McNeely, Dale Tysick, Percy Hay, Norman Clark and James Kennedy.
