  	From the family stories I've collected over the years Mary's mother died shortly after she was born and she was sent to live with her uncle in London, Ontario. I found an officer Gordon in the Wolseley barracks where James A Morrison was training in the infantry school corps. I can only surmise this is how they met? After James died in 1917 she moved to Lanark county to live with her son Malcolm and his family. As far as I know she taught school for a number of years in Lanark and lived out her remaining years in the DunStor lodge in Cornwall before being buried in the Woodlawn cemetery in Cornwall. Her grave is marked with a footstone which is an "M"
