A memorial Mass will lx: said at 10 am Monday ip St Thomas More Catholic Church for Arthur G Green 69 of Paradise who died Wednesday in a local hospital: He was born July 19, 1915, in Toledo, Ohio He moved to the ridge from Palo Alto following his retirement in 1977. Green was a researche instructor for more than 27 years He worked in Stanford University's Yucca Flats research program and then in the university's electronics lab for 10 years Green also worked also at Foothill and West Valley community colleges, last working as a physics instructor. He was a member of St Thomas More Catholic Church Paradise Elks Iiodge and Paradise Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife Alice of Paradise four daughters Sharon of Yipislanti, Mich.; Delores Jackson of Topeka Kan.; Charlene McCormick of Denver, Colo.; and Ruth Mullins of Salem Neb. a sister Jean Martin of Fort Meyers Fla and three grandchilrden The Rev Simon Twoiney of St. Thomas More Catholic Church will officiate at the Mass. Inurnment will be in Paradise Cemetery at a later date A memorial service is pending at Paradise Elks Lodge. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Ridge or American Cancer Society in care of Rose Chapel which is handling arrangements.
