Saint George's Hawthorne Cemetery Ottawa, Ottawa Municipality, Ontario, Canada Late Mrs. Jane Scharfe A wide circle of friends and acquaintances in this community will learn with deep regret of the passing of Mrs Jane Scharfe, widow of the late Enoch Scharfe of Ramsayville. Mrs Scharfe died week ago Tuesday at the home of her son, Harmond, in Saskatchewan, where she had been living since the death of her husband five years ago. The body arrived in Ottawa on Sunday and was conveyed to the parlors of George H. Rogers, where funeral services were held at 2pm. Interment was made in Hawthorne cemetery. Surviving the late Mrs Scharfe are the following: Three sons, Jacob, Edwards Ont.; Clem, Ramsayville; Harmond, Saskatchewan; and five daughters, Mrs S.A. Henderson, Mrs William Nevin and Mrs J.H. Shouldice, all of Ottawa; and Mrs Russell Scharfe and Mrs Emil Herman, Saskatoon. (Carp Review -- August 25, 1927)
