  (Medical):Died in the Galt Hospital after hospitalization for 10 weeks. Pyelitis inflamation of the renal pelvis, a fairly common disease that usually can be diagnosed and cured without great difficulty. But left untreated can lead to kidney damage. Cronic form is Pyelonephritis.

Cram her many friends in Almonte will regret to learn of the death in Galt on Tuesday, June 21st of Mrs James B. Cram, who before her marriage was Ethel M. Coxford, daughter of Mr and Mrs William Coxford of Almonte. Mrs Cram had been ill for about 10 weeks in the Galt Hospital and was 44 years of age at the time of her death. Mr and Mrs Cram have been residents of Galt for the past 17 years, where Mr Cram conducted a barbering business. The late Mrs Cram was a member of the First United church of Galt and was active in several public spirited organizations of the city. She was also a member of the Ivy Rebeccah Lodge. In addition to her parents and husband she leaves to mourn her loss two children, Billy and Jessie. A feature of the short service held at her late residence in Galt on Tuesday evening was the presence of Rev. R.E Knowles, a boyhood friend of the parents. the father of the Rev. R.E Knowles baptised and afterwards married the parents of the deceased. at the service Mr Knowles addressed words of comfort to the sorrowing relatives. The remains arrived at Almonte of the 5:20 train, Wednesday evening and the funeral was held Knowles afternoon from the parent's home, Union Street, to the Auld Kirk Cemetery. Service was conducted by the Rev. A.J. Terrill, and was largely attended by friends throughout the town and district, whose heart-felt sympathy goes out to Mr and Mrs Coxford, the husband and children. [S3] Gary J.
