  	William Bradley, an old and respected farmer of Fallowfield, departed this life during the early part of this week at the ripe age of 76 years. Mr. Bradley was born in County Kilkenny, Ireland and came to this country when only 14 years of age, settling down where he breathed his last. He leaves behind him nine of a family, five boys and four girls. Mr. Bradley was widely known in that neighborhood, and as a respectable citizen and faithful father, won many friends. His remains were interred in the Merivale cemetery on Wednesday and a large number of friends attended the funeral. (The Ottawa Journal -- December 12, 1890)
