  	2006, Tuesday January 10, The Almonte Gazette page 6 Family, friends fondly remember Lorne Simpson Lorne Milton Simpson passed away on Jan 4 at Fleury Manor in Ile Perrot, Quebec. He was in his 95th year. Mr Simpson attended Almonte High School and spent his entire life in the motion picture business, learning his trade at the O'Brien Theatre in Almonte and then working until his retirement at the National Film Board of Canada both in Ottawa and Montreal. Mr Simpson was predeceased by his wife Helen (Tobie) Naismith of Almonte and three brothers, Allan, Lloyd and Eric, all of whom were from Almonte. He is survived by his son Gordon and daughter-in-law Nicole of Ile Parrot and three granddaughters, Shannon, Carolyn and Amanda, all living in Montreal. he is also survived by two nieces, Donna Jonsson of Nepean, Ruth Drummond of Carleton Place his nephew Donald Simpson of Glen Isle. Internment will be at the Auld Kirk Cemetery later in the Year when appropriate arrangements can be made.
