  	er obituary was published in the Rideau Record on Dec 2, 1930. Nellie M. Code, wife of Alfred Code, a resident of Montague, died suddenly at her home on Friday evening. Deceased who was 39 years of age, was stricken with a heart attack and passed away within a short time. The late Mrs. Code, leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two daughters, Sylvia and Alfreida and one son Clifford, all at home. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Edwards of Montague, also four brothers and two sisters, two of the brothers being Leonard and Basil Edwards of Smiths Falls. The funeral was held from her late home, in Montague on Monday afternoon last to St. Bede's Church, where the service was conducted by Capt. Alp, interment afterwards being made in the Church Cemetery. The florarl tributes were spray from Maple Leaf Lodge No. 571, L.O.B.A., and a wreath from the C.P.R. Shopmen. The bearers were W. Dillabough, W. Fitzgerald, W. Code, T. Douglas, H. Buchanan and James McCreary.
