The bride is the daughter Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edgar Battison and the bridegroom the son of Mrs. Bert Grant and the late Mr. Grant of Ottawa. The bride was given in marriage by her father and was attended by Miss Anne Cass as maid of honor. The best man was Basil Grant, brother of the groom. Edgar Battison and Athos (Hap Grant were ushers. The ceremony was performed by Rev. H. C. Vaughan. The church was decorated with Easter flowers. J. W. Neil played the organ. The bride wore a ballerina-length gown of beige lace over satin, styled with a Peter Pan collar and cap sleeves. She wore matching lace mitts and cap, and carried a semi-cascade of Queen Elizabeth roses. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Red Door. The couple left by motor on their honeymoon.
