- CLEROUX, Gerald David "Jerry" July 6, 1924 - March 26, 2009 In hospital, Perth after a short illness. Predeceased by his loving wife, Rose (nee Legree), parents Oscar and Sadie Cleroux, brothers Leonard, Stanley (Irene) Allan, and sister-in-law Beryl. He will be sadly missed by his long-time partner and dearest friend, Barb Culligan. He is survived by his children; Carolyn (Michael) Inneo, Robert (Cathy), David (Debbie), Cheryl (Claire), and grandchildren Mark (Mary) Inneo, Anne Marie (Colin) Matthews, Stefanie and Jillian Cleroux, brother Charles, and sisters-in-law Dorothy Legree and Ruby Cleroux. Jerry was a dispatch rider with the Essex-Scottish Regiment during World War II. He owned and operated an automotive repair and towing business. He had been active in Perth Lions Club and the Royal Canadian Legion. Visitation for Jerry will take place on Monday, March 30, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the O'Dacre Family Funeral Home, 15 Victoria Street, Perth. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at St. John's Anglican Church, Innisville, at 10:00 am, thence to interment at St. John's Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John's Anglican Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
