  	His parents were John and Johanna Ricks Horn who were both from Germany. He married Edna L Gibson. Charles and Edna lived in Omaha the majority of their married years. They had three children, Lois, Harold, and William. Charles worked at several different professions during his life. In Omaha he was a bank teller, worked in real estate, did carpentry work, and was a building contractor. He died in December of 1935. The location of his obituary: HORN, Charles; 7 Dec 1935 Omaha Bee Charles infant granddaughter Beverly Jean Horn is buried with him and his wife Edna in the Masonic Section of Forest Lawn Cemetery.
