Eldie Brooks was the beloved husband of Violet "Vi" Kidd of Powassan and the loving father of Faye Eddy Ross of Victoria, Fern Wilson Darrel of South River, Kevin Brooks Leslie of Grand Prairie, Alberta, Niki Lucas of Grand Prairie, and Trevor Brooks Karla Russell of Calgary, and proud grandfather of Meaghan and Maren Eddy, Gabe and Chase Wilson, Kyle and LeeAnn Brooks, and Autumn and Dustin Lucas. He was the dear brother of Pete Brooks of Port Loring, Ruth Cole of Dawson Creek, B.C. and Jean Brooks of Barrie. Eldie was predeceased by his brothers Edward, Leonard, Dennis and Carlton Brooks and his sisters Hazel Brooks, Sarah Culin, Ella Hampel and Mildred Kirton.
