  	DEATH OF MRS. RARICK. Stroke of Paralysis Was Fatal to Old Settler. Mrs. Minnie Elizabeth Rarick died this morning about 7 o'clock at the home of her son, Carl Rarick, 515 Ohio street. Mrs. Rarick was stricken with paralysis yesterday at her home on south Kentucky street and was taken to the home of her son yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Rarick was born in Ohio in 1844. She had lived in Lawrence and Douglas county ever since the Civil War. She is survived by one son, Carl, and one daughter, Mrs. Edith H. Johnson of Tacoma, Washington. The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon from the son's home. Rev. H. E. Wolfe will officiate. Interment will be in the family lot in Oak hill cemetery.
