• Notes

  G. Caskey: Robert, the 3rd oldest of the family, came to Canada with his mother and father when they immigrated to Canada in 1845. Very little if anything is known of them other than the fact that they must have had a hard life, much the same as many others who pioneered this country. We know only that Robert died at the age of 31 yrs, his father died at the age of 49. Descendents of his father have lived to ages of upward of 90 years. However it is interesting to note that around the time of Robert's death the family seems to have split up and gone their separate ways. (3 Jan 1990)
