Dear father of Joe (Shirley) of Edmonton, Jessica (Steve) of Toronto, David (Linda) of Toronto, Roger (Kim) of California, Dorothy (Jack) of South River, Ruth (Scott) of Toronto, Darren (Valerie) of Quebec and John (Mary Lou) of Oshawa. Cherished grandfather of 18; Shelley, Fred, Joy, Fern, Karen, Glenn, Tim, Robin, Stacey, Kenneth, Dayton, Fred, Crystal, Liberty, Ellis and Irene. Great-grandfather of 4; Dalia, Dylan, Connor, and Skye. Survived by his brothers Harry of Arnprior and Aylmer (Madella) of Carleton Place. Predeceased by his granddaughter Kara, grandson Bill, brothers Art, Bill, Bert and Ewin/Ritch and sisters Dorothy, Mary and Maybeth. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Ave., Carleton Place on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 3 p.m. with Pastor Gerardo Oudri officiating. Spring interment Auld Kirk Cemetery.
