  	Calvin Peters an old man who was stricken with paralysis on Mill street several days ago and who was taken to jail because he had no other place to go passed away in that institution on Wednesday and was buried in the Forest Lawn Cemetery on Thursday. The old man has been a resident of Orangeville for over 20 years and when he first came to town was engaged in peddling tinware through the country, but of late has been selling nursery stock. Mr. Peters was not aware that he was being taken to jail until he was almost within the door. "What part of the town are we in now?" asked the old man as he was being driven near the court house. "We're near the jail." replied the friend who was driving the rig. "Oh, surely you are not going to put me behind stone walls to end my days," said the poor old fellow, but they had already started to carry him inside, where he was made comfortable until the black spectre beckoned him hence.- Sun.
