Bert was predeceased by her husband Dean Oswald and six sisters, the daughters of Benjamin and Agnes Holden. Bert was an RN who trained at the Edmonton General Hospital, and graduated in 1938. Dean was stationed at the Air Force Base in Edmonton and they were married in 1941. Bert maintained friendships with her classmates over the years attending reunions and nursing alumni luncheons, having attended the latter in 2009. The last twenty years of her career were spent working at the Allan Blair Memorial Cancer Clinic in Regina, SK. Bert, will be lovingly remembered by her children Marcheta Gray, Jim Renwick, Pat Robson and Lori Renwick; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. A Celebration of Berts Life will be held at MclNNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
