  	940, Thursday September 26, The Almonte Gazette, front page Mrs Andrew Young Resident of Ottawa, since 1927, Mrs Andrew Young died at the home of her daughter, Mrs E.H. Knight, 220 Holmwood avenue, Ottawa, on Monday. She was in her 81st year. Born at Almonte, the former Alice J. Glover, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Glover, she was educated there and was married in 1883. Her husband was well known in the foundry business in Almonte, where he was in partnership with his brother, Robert Young. He predeceased her in 1927. Mrs Young was a member of St Giles Presbyterian Church, and the W.M.S. and the Ladies' Aid Society of the church, in Ottawa. Survivors, in addition to her daughter, are one sister, Mrs D. Williams, and two sons, Russell of Philadelphia and Vincent R., of Toronto. One son, Morton, predeceased her. The funeral was held from the chapel of Hulse and Playfair, Ltd, Ottawa, on Wednesday at 1 p.m. and interment was made in the Auld Kirk Cemetery.
