  	Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary for Mary Mabel Shippey, 88, of Salem, who died Monday. Interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens. She was born in Lawrence, Kan., and moved to Stayton in 1950 from Tabor, Iowa, and to Salem in 1956. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her husband, Melvin W.; sons, Marvin M., Salem, Gerald A., Salem, Dallas D., Salem and Merlin N., Sanger, Texas; and daughter, Donnah L. Shippey, Albuquerque, N.M. Contributions may be made to the Mabel Shippey Memorial Fund at the church.
