In the mid-thirties his family moved to a farm east of Langbank, which Bob later purchased, and it was there Bob began farming on his own. On July 12, 1949 he married Ruth Lonseth of Dinsmore, Sk, and for the next 63 1/2 years, the couple enjoyed country living, and the happiness brought by having many good friends. They were blessed with four sons - Alvin, Ron, Terry and Loren. In the fall of 2011 they sold their house, and for 2 months lived with family in Regina, before moving to their new home in Moosomin. The couple very much enjoyed their year together there. They were visiting family in Regina during the holidays, when Bob was suddenly taken from us.
