James Evans McAdam, for six years a resident of tills city, died test night at his lute residence, 374 Gllmour street, after an Illness of about a year. He was 63 years of age and was born at White Lake, Ont. . The greater part of his life was spent In Renfrew, where he was a well known merchant. In religion he was a Methodist and attended McLeod Street church. He leaves to mourn him a widow, formerly. Miss Mary A. Potter, two sons, Robert E., at home; James B., ot Weyburn, Saskatchewan, and two daughters, Miss Lila J., superintendent of Victoria General hospital, Renfrew, and Mrs. Norman C. Allan oi Ottawa: two brothers, John, of Gates-vllle, Michigan; William, of Stewart-vllle, Ont., and three sisters, Mrs. John Bannerman, of Nelson, B.C.: Mrs, H. Taylor, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. A. J. Mclntyre, 694 Wellington street. The remains will be shipped to Renfrew . tonight at 8.55 o'clock by the O. T. R. Service will be held at the house at 7 .o'clock, conducted by Rev. It. G. Peever. The funeral will be held tomorrow at Renfrew and v411 be conducted by -the Canadian Order of Foresters, of which he was a member.
