He provided leadership within his church as Superintendent. Recognition of his commitment culminated in his receiving of the Senior Citizen of the Year Award in 1995. He was an effective leader of strong character with a warm smile for everyone. At sunset with his family by his side, in Perth, Ontario, on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, Albert Finlayson Duncan in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Virtue, Loving father of Susan Musselman (Lorne) of Carleton Place and Colleen Robazza (late Lino) of Brockville. Dear grandfather Kristen and Kevin. Survived by his neice Lorna McNabb (Gordon) of Appleton. Friends may call at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place. On Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Reverand Larry Paul officiating. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte. Donations to the Albert Duncan Memorial Trust Fund for the betterment of the Town of Carleton Place would be appreciated.
