  	1941, Wednesday January 8, The Ottawa Journal page 6 Funeral of Mrs Bennett Funeral service for Mrs George Bennett, resident of the Capital for 36 years who died on Saturday, was held at the chapel of Hulse and Playfair Limited, 315 McLeod street, on Tuesday afternoon with Rev F.S. Milliken officiating. Following the service the remains were taken to the Auld Kirk cemetery at Almonte for burial. Among the many beautiful floral offering received by the bereaved family were wreaths from the manager and staff of Canadian Westinghouse, Halifax; Margaret Bottome Memorial Circle, King's Daughters' Guild, and the Bridge Club. Chief mourners were her husband, of 396 Lyon street; one son, Frank, of Halifax, and a daughter, Mrs J.C. Shorter, of Toronto
