  	It is difficult to read the tombstone inscription showing the year of death. The church record states that he died on the 21st of December 1886 and was buried on the 23rd December 1886. The church record also notes that he was 64 years of age. The tombstone inscription states that he was 66 years of age when he died. I have calculated the year of birth from the church record mentioned above, and the day and month of birth from census records. There are considerable errors in the dates engraved on the tombstone for the date of death and age at time of death for his wife Sydney Moore. I suspect that this stone was erected by the children some time after the death of these two parents, and this accounts for the errors.
