  	Steven M. Lambert, 45, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, January 22, 2005 in Port Huron Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 21, 1959 in Port Huron to Marlin and Beverly (Wakeham) Lambert. Steven graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 1977. He received an associate's degree from St. Clair County Community College, a bachelor's degree from Ferris State University and a master's degree from Bowling Green State University. He was employed by Marathon Oil Company as a computer information systems developer in Houston, Texas and Findlay, Ohio. He returned home four months ago due to his illness. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Lambert; a sister, Susan, a niece, Sarah; grandfather, Kenneth Wakeham, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends in Houston and Findlay. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Wakeham on June 4, 2004. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2005 Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Dr. Catherine Dungan McPhail officiated. Burial was in Kinney Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cory Ray, Frank Lambert III, Mark Lambert, Rick Miller, Jim Jeffries and Neal Ward.
