Mr Charles Patterson, sen., of Carleton Place, died on Sunday, in his eightieth year, and was buried in the eighth line cemetery on Tuesday. Death was due to cancer in the cheek, The Herald says: Mr Patterson leaves a wife, six sons and two daughters. The sons are George and Charles, at St Catharines; William here; Albert and Richard in Cleveland; and Robert in Calgary. The daughters are Mrs Robt Cavanagh here and Mrs Francis in Wisconsin.
