  	?b? Albert Leach. ?/b?Carleton Place. March 14 - Albert Leach of Prospect, one of the community's best know citizens passed away at his home there on Wednesday at the age of 88 years. Born in Montague township, he was a son of the late George Leach and his wife, Matilda Garland, and when quite young moved with his parents to North Gower where he was married to Miss Jane Pollock. Following the marriage the couple went to live on a farm in Prospect. His wife predeceased him some years ago. For a number of years Mr. Leach served as a school trustee and was also a member of the Orange Lodge at Prospect. He was an Anglican, and in the earlier part of his life took a prominent part in church activities and had served as people's and rector's warden. Surviving are three sons. Thomas of Regina, Garland of Melfort, Sask., and Austin Leach at home: three daughters, Miss Matilda Leach, at home: Mrs. Livingstone Kidd and Mrs. Edgar Kidd both of Prospect, and four brothers. George, Richmond: Edward, James and Nicholas Leach, all of North Gower. Tlhe funeral will take place from his late residence on Friday afternoon to the Frankown cemetery. Rev A. Lowe rector of the Anglican church at Ashton, will be in charge of the .service.
