Before becoming ill with multiple sclerosis in 1983, Mr. Evans drove trucks for Jim Palmer Trucking Co. in the Missoula area. Survivors include his wife, Connie; his mother, Claire Evans; two sisters, and several other relatives. Services were held Feb. 4 in Packwaukee. The family suggests memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
