The funeral of Mr. Peter Faulkner McLinton of Wakefield, who died suddenly was held fron his residence in Wakefield to the Halls Cemetery and attended by a large number of residents of the gatineau district. He was 57 years old old and was born near Richmond, Ont., coming to Wakefield 35 years ago. He was one of the best known farmers on the Gatineau. He is survived by his widow, three sons, Charles of Lang, Sask.,, Thomas and Gordon at home. and by seven daughters, MrsS. P. Anderson, of Kazubazua; Cairre, Addie, Winnifred, Bessie, Madeline and Dorothy, at home. Others who survive are one sister, Mrs John Cummings of Manotick, and four brothers, Robert, of Pine, Ont.; Samuel, Hugh and Joshua of Richmond; and two grandsons, Lawrence and Clinton Anderson. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Mr. rumley who was assisted at the grave by members of Wakefield Lodge, L. O. L. of which the late Mr McLinton was a member.
