McDougall, Beauch?ne, Quebec, James McDougall, husband of the late Jessie Gardiner. Funeral at two o'clock Sunday afternoon from the George Comba Funeral Home, Almonte, Ont. Burial at Auld Kirk cemetery. 1947, Thursday January 16, The Almonte Gazette page 4 ?b?James McDougall?/b? (Contributed by a relative) Many friends gathered with relatives to pay final tribute to the memory of James McDougall, former resident of Almonte, at his funeral held from the Comba Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon. Rev W.J. Scott of Bethany United Church conducted the service and burial was in the Auld Kirk Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Wm McCallum, Martin Maxwell, Dan Dutrizac, Elmer Boyce, J.B. Illingworth and Emmett Stafford. Mr McDougall died in his 92nd year and was a native of Edinburgh, Scotland. He married the former Jessie Gardner of Bennies Corners who predeceased him in 1927. Surviving are three sons Albert in the U.S.A. and Ernest and James of Beauchene, Quebec, and one daughter, Mrs E. McAfee of New Toronto.
