  	?b?JOHN KIDD?/b? A resident of North Bay for the past 20 years, John Kidd died Saturday at tha home of his daughter Mrs. H. H. Kenny, 160 First avenue east. He was In hls 88th year. Mr Kidd was well known both in this district and in the Ottawa region, from which he came. Born in Prospect, Ont., he was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Thomas Kidd. At Pembroke, Ont., he married the former Mary Ann Leach of Smiths Falls on December 24, 1878. His wife predeceased him. He came to North Bay 20 years ago and resided here with hls daughter Mrs H. H. Kenny. He was an enthusiastic member of the Loyal Orange Lodge and remained active in the organization even until recent years. Mr Kidd was a devout member of the St John's Anglican Church congregation. Funeral services will be held tonight at the home of Mrs. Kenny, with Rev W. W. Jarvis, rector of St. John's Anglican Church, officiating. Loyal Orange lodge members of the city will take part in the services. The body will be forwarded to Mlcksburg, Ont., for burial. Members of L.0.L. No. 12, Mlcksburg will conduct a service at St. Stephen's Church In that town and interment will be In St Stephan's Cemetery. Surviving Mr Kidd are a brother George Kidd, North Bay; two sisters, Mrs Susan Edwards, Chapleau, and Mrs E. E. Edwards of Restoule; one son, Thomas Kidd, Brandon, Man., and three daughters, Mrs. H. H. Kenny, North Bay; Mrs. Walter Wright, of North Bay, and Mrs. R. T. Bolton, Moose Jaw, Sask.
