  	Rev. W. J. Kidd Dies at Edmonton Edmonton, March 26--Rev. William James Kidd, 65, died here yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. Aubrey MacMillan. First missionary to the loggers of the B.C. coast, Rev. Mr. Kidd was born near Carleton Place, Ont., 1877. He was ordained in the Mount Pleasant church, Vancouver, in 1907, and founded the Loggers' Mission Presbyterian church on the west coast. Coming to Alberta in 1916, he was the minister of the churches in Claresholm and Okotoks, and for the last 10 years at Clover Bar. He is survived by two daughters; one son, Lt. James G. Kidd serving overseas with the 13th Field Regiment, R.C.A.; two sisters and seven brothers, Rev. C. E. Kidd, moderator of the Toronto and Kingston synod of the Presbyterian Church of Canada, who resides at Gananoque, Ont.; Dr. C. E. Kidd of Leduc; John A. Kidd of Vancouver; Edgar Kidd of Ashton, Ont.; and twin brothers, G. H. Kidd and H. M. Kidd of Mackenzie Island, Ont., and Stuart Kidd of Edmonton.
