  	Veteran of Last War, Thomas Butler Passes Thomas Abbott Butler, a veteran of the Great War and a former telegrapher with the Canadian Pacific Railways for 25 years, died yesterday at the heme of his sister, Mrs. Hows.rd Argue, 60 Elm street. He was i:i his 62r.d ! year. He was born in Hareldean, a son of the late Richard Butler and his wife, the former Jane Abbott. He joined a Sisnallers' unit In August, 1014. foucht in the front lines and was honorubly- ri;s-rharccd in March of 11)19. Vt-tirltiK from the CP. It. in 1932. l e took up residence in CXtaua' and had remained here ever since, He is survived by his wife, the former Susan Hearl, whom he married in 1920, of Toronto, his sister and several nieces ar.d nephews. The funeral will be held from his late residence on Tuesday afternoon at 2.45 for service m St. Luke's Anglican church, of which he was a member, at three o'clock. The body will be placed in Pinecrest vault await in? burial at Hazeldean in the sprins.
