Miss Emily Morris Wylie, daughter of Mrs Wylie and the late Captain Wm H Wylie, passed away peacefully on February 12, after a year illness. Becoming ill in Halifax she was taken at one to the Mountains and later to the Ross Memorial Hospital, Montreal, where she received the best skill and care for three months. Her mother remained with her all year and her sister all last month. She was a bright, lovable girl, fond of sports and a general favourite. Her loss will be keenly felt by her many friends and she is deeply mourned by her own family circle. The Funeral took place on Sunday of last week from the home of her sister Mrs C.B Dawson, of Almonte, and was very largely attended. Rev George H Thomas, of Appleton conducted the service in the absence of her minister Rev J D McCrae. The pallbearers were her four cousins, Messrs. Hamilton, Arthur, Henry and Maitland Wylie. The remains were taken to the Presbyterian cemetery on the 8th line of Ramsay.
