S., CAN, in his 95th year, of 2941 Seaview Road, a pioneer resident and practicing physician and surgeon, having resided here for 85 years, born in Walkerton, Ontario. He leaves in sorrow, his wife dorothea, two sons, John and Richard of Victoria; five grandchildren; one great grand-grandson. He served as a surgeon with the Pioneers in France in the First World War. He was an honorary member of Elk River Lodge AF & AM No. 35, B. C. R., Fernie, B. C. Funeral service in McCall Bros. chapel, Johnson at Vancouver Street, on Friday, February 17 at 4:00 pm with Padre Tony Roberts officiating, followed by cremation. Flowers gratefully declined.
