  	Perth Courier - September 18, 1891 We regret to learn of the death of John Madden, Ramsay township. He was one of the oldest and most esteemed residents of that part of the county and one of the most generous benefactors of St. Mary's Church, Almonte in years gone by. The deceased was the father of Mrs. Nicholas Bawlf of Winnipeg and was born in County Cork, Ireland in 1819 and came to Canada in his boyhood with his parents.
