  	1958, Wednesday May 7 The Carleton Place Canadian Hugh Hamilton Dies In Hospital The death occurred on Saturday, May 3rd, at the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital of Hugh Hamilton after an illness of two months. A son of the late Thomas Hamilton and his wife Janet Aitken, he was born in Huntley township 82 years ago. During his younger years he farmed on the family homestead and later worked on farms in the Appleton and Blakeney districts. About ten years ago he came to reside in Carleton Place where he made many friends. Mr Hamilton was never married and is survived by two sisters, (Marion), Mrs George Shail of Beckwith, (Mary), Mrs Percy Parker of Carleton Place, and two brothers, Alex of Smiths Falls, and Harry of Appleton. Five brothers and two sisters are predecease
