Steele. Funeral will be at 2 p.m., Friday, at St James Church, Carleton Place; Interment Auld Kirk. 1947, Friday November 14, The Ottawa Journal page 6 Mrs M.H. Steele Dies at Carleton Place CARLETON PLACE, Nov 13 - (Special) - Loretta Steele, widow of Dr Milo H. Steele, died here. She was born in Arnprior and was the daughter of Joseph and Anne MacDougall of that town. She was married in Toronto in 1916 and is survived by three sisters, Mrs G.E. McElroy, of Ottawa; Mrs Horace Martin and Miss Ida MacDougall, both of Cornwall. Two brothers also survive, Melville Gordon of Milwaukee, Wis.; and Dr Lorne MacDougall, of Toronto. The funeral will take place on Friday at 2 p.m. from J. Patterson and Sons funeral parlours to St James Anglican church and thence to Auld Kirk cemetery. The services will be conducted by Rev D.F. Weegar.
