Cotton (1996). Dear mother of Barbara and husband William Christian of Guelph. Loving grandmother of Matthew and Adam Christian. Also survived by several nephew and nieces. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Kirkland, and Susan Kirkland, of Almonte, Ontario, and by brothers Hal, James, and Maurice, and sisters Stella and Josephine. She was a member of the United Church and a long-time member of the Canadian Federation of University Women. She graduated from Queen's University and taught at Vankleek Hill and Kennedy Collegiate in Windsor. Alway interested in sports, she was active in many for as long as possible. Friends will be received at the Wall - Custance Funeral Home, 206 Norfolk St. Guelph, Monday (2-4 & 7-9 p.m.) A private funeral service will be held. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte, Ontario.
