  	1943, Thursday July 22, The Almonte Gazette page 8 Mrs Alex Turner This week we have to record the passing of the second oldest of the late Matthew Neilson's family, Mrs Alex Turner (Annie Neilson) who died Tuesday, July 13. She was in her 82nd year. Her husband predeceased her about 58 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Matthew Neilson and Emmeline Teskey. Her son Ernest died 24 years ago. For the last ten years she had made her home with Mr and Mrs W.H. Neilson from whose residence the funeral took place on Thursday, Rev A.J. Fowlie and Rev Morrison of Almonte officiated at the services. Interment was in the Auld Kirk cemetery. Mrs Turner is survived by one granddaughter Mrs Hannah McArton of Carleton Place, one grandson Alec Turner of Ottawa and many nephews and nieces. Beautiful floral tributes adorned the casket. The pallbearers were Rev Harold Turner of Pakenham, Cecil and Sinclair Turner, John B. and Alan Neilson and Thorpe Bowes.
