  	1906, Friday August 24, The Almonte Gazette page 4 ?b?Agnes Johnston?/b? Miss Agnes Johnston aged 80 years, who died on Tuesday, 21st inst., at the House of Industry, Perth, whither she had been for over a year, was well known to the older people of Ramsay. She was a sister of Mrs John Steele, sr., and Mrs Jas Black, sr., and lived usually with one or other of her sisters until the infirmities of age necessitated her removal to Perth. She was a tailoress, and had been employed in her younger days by many of the farmers along the 7th and 8th lines of Ramsay in knitting and in making children's clothes. The funeral on Wednesday from the home of her nephew, Mr Walter Black, was conducted by Rev Orr Bennet of St Andrew's church, of which the late Miss Johnston was formerly a member.
