  	Professional Hockey Player. A native of Aylmer, Quebec, Moore was an outstanding athlete excelling as a hockey player as a member of the Ottawa Silver Seven club along with the likes of Harry 'Rat' Westwick, John Proctor 'Jack' Darragh, David Gordon Gilmour, Sutherland Campbell 'Suddie' Gilmour, Ernest Harvey Pulford, Hamilton Livingstone 'Billy' Gilmour, and others, later the original Ottawa Senators from 1902 to 1908. The team won the Stanley Cup World Championships in 1903, 1904, and again in 1905. Moore was also a lacrosse player with the Montreal Wanderers Lacrosse Team in the 1890s, a football player with the Ottawa Rough Riders, and a member of the Ottawa Rowing Club.
